樂山咨詢集團 BIPPO Advisory Group

Recently, BIPPO organized a unique parent-child exploration activity.

BIPPO team members, along with their families, traveled to Deqing County in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, to closely investigate the rural support initiatives managed by the Mrs. Bee Charitable Foundation in the area.

As young parents leave their hometowns to seek work opportunities in cities, their children are inevitably left behind, resulting in numerous challenges related to their growth, education, and emotional well-being.

Mrs. Bee tackles this issue by developing the beekeeping and agricultural products industry in Huilong Town, Deqing County, Zhaoqing City. Through providing industry-specific skills training and supporting villagers in upgrading their capabilities and increasing their income, Mrs. Bee encourages more parents to stay in their hometowns. This enables them to work while caring for both the elderly and the young, and reducing the number of left-behind children.

Since its inception, Mrs. Bee’s Rural Family Reunion Project has garnered significant recognition, including accolades such as the Forbes China ESG Innovative Enterprises award, and has been featured in prominent Hong Kong media outlets like HKET.

Mr. Jacky Kwan, the initiator of the Mrs. Bee Rural Family Reunion Project, a Hong Kong local, has been deeply involved in the health industry for nearly 20 years. He has previously served as founder and chairman of The Zebra Wellness Group and has extensive experience in corporate strategy planning. Currently, as the chairman of the Primary Care Education Foundation, he is devoting more of his efforts to charity, bringing Hong Kong’s philanthropic concepts and mature charity management models to the local area. This has enabled the Mrs. Bee project, an adaptive and sustainable charitable poverty alleviation initiative, to take root and thrive in the county, unleashing endless vitality.

BIPPO has always paid close attention to philanthropy. On one hand, charity is an important part of family office services as well as a part of BIPPO’s daily work. More and more HNW clients incorporate philanthropy into their family wealth planning to show a commitment to social responsibility, give back to society, and strengthen family bonds. BIPPO currently maintains similar charitable trusts. In response to client needs, BIPPO researches and selects specific charitable projects focused on supporting women and children for funding.

On the other hand, BIPPO’s internal team has been continuously exploring and learning advanced scientific methods for managing charitable projects. We are also reflecting on how to make philanthropy more “sustainable” and “enduring” through various forms, such as offshore trusts and foundations. BIPPO hopes to contribute its own efforts to help more people in need and actively promote meaningful and valuable charitable projects.

We gained a deeper understanding of how Hong Kong-style charitable projects achieve “localization” and integrate with the local community through firsthand experiences and conversations with the founder and beneficiaries.

Mrs. Bee’s local charitable initiatives is consist of three parts, providing job opportunities for villagers, supporting vulnerable groups, and promoting rural revitalization. Based on the local characteristics, they develop and package agricultural projects that leverage regional strengths. They also introduce scientific business management models and advanced brand marketing strategies to promote agricultural products online.

Several donation programs have been launched to allow people to participate and contribute their support, which include Beehive Donation, Rice Farmland Donation, Tangerine Tree DonationDonation to Poor Students, Chicken Donation, Vegetable Farming Donation, and Product Sales Assistance.

Project Briefing

BIPPO visited the Shengping Village Committee to participate in a project briefing session hosted by Mrs. Bee, gaining in-depth insights into the operational details of the initiative. The team also engaged in discussions with families of left-behind children supported by the program.

Organic Honey Factory Tour

By introducing modern technology and equipment, scientific management, effective marketing, and brand packaging, the locally produced pure natural organic honey has been transformed into convenient portable sachets, adorable honey-themed plush toys, honey-infused hand creams, and other everyday products. These items are now sold in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, creating tangible job opportunities for local residents and driving income growth.

Experience the Tangerine Picking Garden

Tangerine is one of the local speciality agricultural products. Visitors can pick tangerines on their own, choosing the one that catches their eye the most. Additionally, through the “Tangerine Tree Donation” program, they can adopt a tree marked with their name and regularly receive carefully packaged gift boxes of the harvested fruits.

As the Lunar New Year approached, we visited Bozhi Town Central Primary School to carry out the “Delivering Warmth · Sharing a Cozy Winter” New Year gift donation event. Together with the students, we held an art class themed “Reunion,” where they expressed their heartfelt wishes for family togetherness through painting. At the end of the class, we joined other charitable organisations in presenting the children with warm winter clothing and our sincere care and blessings.

Bozhong Town Primary School

As many students live far from home and need to board at school, Mrs Bee has launched a series of targeted charitable initiatives to address their everyday needs in study and living. The program regularly provides care packages containing essential items such as clothing, nutritious meals, quilts, shoes, socks, and school supplies. Each package is designed to ensure that donations are both practical and meaningful — allowing caring supporters to deliver what the children truly need while reducing waste and maximising impact.

BIPPO’s charitable contributions have been recognized by Mrs Bee and the local government, which jointly presented the Group with a Certificate of Appreciation in acknowledgement of its support.

Guided by the belief that “it is better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish,” Leshan designs its green philanthropy programs based on local industries and community lifestyles. These initiatives aim to create employment opportunities, increase household income, and encourage the return of the working-age population to their hometowns. By fostering self-sustaining and circular community economies, Leshan seeks to address the root causes of rural poverty, the challenges faced by left-behind children, and the hollowing-out of rural communities.

The related reports have also been published on the official government information platform of Bozhi Town, Deqing, Zhaoqing.
